AshRama 5 is a branch of the Institute for applied spiritual technology, a non-profit vedic resource center located in the hearth of north-west San Antonio, Texas. We offer an open, soothing and enriching environment so that you can get away form stress and anxiety. ASHRAMA­ means a “place of learning and transformation” and 5 is based on the five universal truths found in the pancha tattva Advaita-Nityananda-Chaitanya-Gadadhara-Srivasa.

IFAST /ISKCON fosters the dynamics of re-spiritualization throughout the world by teaching the science of Bhakti-yoga that has been passed down from India’s great Gurus for thousands of years, and came to America and the whole world through Srila Prabhupada.

3pm Every Sunday

group music sessions with authentic traditional mantras for purification of body, mind and spirit. Kirtan soul session is followed by a science of self-realization course /B.Gita class and a full vegetarian dinner /tremendous feast

5:00 am – Mangal Arati (morning music and prayer) ceremony
5:30 am – Japa (chanting) meditation
7:30 am – Guru Puja (2nd morning prayers) ceremony
8:00 am – Bhagavat Purana (Srimad Bhagavatam) class

2-5:00 pm – Daily open Lunch
7:00 pm – Evening Kirtan (group music chanting)
7:30 pm – Reading from Mahabharata, the great Indian epic.
